Job summary

University of Fort Hare seeks a Technical Sales Representative for the Manufacturing sector in East London. The role focuses on driving regional sales growth by building customer relationships, identifying technical requirements and delivering tailored product solutions across the East Coast region.

The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 / Matric, a Sales/Marketing Diploma (or equivalent) with 2+ years of technical sales experience, and solid knowledge of foam/plastics manufacturing

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Sales/Marketing Diploma or equivalent advantageous.
• 2+ years’ technical sales experience required.
• Foam, plastics or similar manufacturing industry experience essential.
• Strong understanding of technical product applications.
• Experience with customer visits, needs analysis and technical selling.
• Ability to liaise with customers and factory teams on product requirements.
• Computer literate – MS Office and Syspro advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Willing and able to travel throughout the regional East Coast area.
• Strong communication, customer service and business development skills.
