Job summary

BHBW South Africa Proprietary Limited is seeking a seasoned service operations lead to manage the field team and oversee forklift fleet maintenance in Durban, Richards Bay and the North Coast. You will drive profitability, negotiate with customers and suppliers, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in a similar position, Grade 12, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience within the same role.
• Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service operational team in a defined area to deliver targeted ROI.
• Oversee forklift fleet maintenance across Durban, Richards Bay and North Coast regions.
• Ensure contract profitability and manage costs on maintenance and rental contracts.
• Schedule and conduct regular customer meetings and site inspections.
• Maintain safety, quality, and performance targets per KPI and balance scorecard.
• Prepare and review WIP and NPL reports against targets and timelines.
