Are you ready to lead a critical logistics and customer service operation that drives efficiency and customer satisfaction in a dynamic manufacturing environment?

A leading company in the manufacturing and FMCG sectors, committed to operational excellence and customer focus, is seeking an experienced Senior Regional Manager to oversee their KwaZulu-Natal operations. This pivotal role involves managing diverse teams, optimizing logistics, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.

Duties:

• Ensure effective fleet management aligned with RTQS and RTMS, including justified commercial fleet purchases and forklift fleet oversight

• Manage the quality and accuracy of product delivery, internal sales teams, and customer interactions

• Oversee raw materials warehouses and teams to Polyoak standards, maintaining optimal housekeeping across all departments

• Conduct weekly and monthly stock takes, report variances, and investigate customer returns, delivery failures, and incomplete loads

• Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers and customers

• Develop and manage budgets for capex, raw materials, and distribution, maintaining strict adherence within financial targets

• Implement cost management systems to reduce, measure, and control expenses

• Actively promote employee morale and engagement, fostering a positive work environment

• Report on key logistics ratios and operational costs, providing strategic insights to executive leadership

• Ensure compliance with FSSC, ISO, and other standards as part of daily KPIs

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years in a senior management role within manufacturing or FMCG industries

• Relevant Supply chain degree essential (not negotiable)

• Proven experience in fleet, warehouse, and cost management

• Strong budgeting and data analysis skills

• Excellent communication and team management capabilities

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple departments and build stakeholder relationships

Familiarity with the following :

• RTQS and RTMS standards

• ISO and FSSC compliance
