Job summary

Switch Recruit is seeking a Senior Regional Sales Manager for a global freight forwarding leader in the Western Cape. You will build and drive a regional sales pipeline, lead the sales team, and coordinate key customer events to achieve revenue targets.

You will oversee reporting and forecasting, support national campaigns, and leverage a strong network in logistics to grow the regional business.

Qualifications

Matric/Grade 12 is required.
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Marketing, Logistics or related discipline highly beneficial.
Minimum of 10 years' experience within international freight forwarding, with at least 3-5 years in a Sales Manager or senior sales leadership role managing a regional and/or national sales team.

Responsibilities

Build and manage a strong regional sales pipeline and deliver against aggressive sales and revenue targets.
Lead, manage, coach and develop Business Development Managers across the region.
Identify and attract experienced business development talent.
Take ownership of regional sales pipeline reporting, forecasting and accuracy.
Support national sales and marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Manage the consolidation, quality control and submission of monthly sales reports.
Coordinate customer, group and sales events.
