Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Director to lead sales across Gauteng, with a focus on Vereeniging. You will build high-performing teams, drive revenue growth, and expand market share in an industrial equipment environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or equivalent is highly preferred.
• 10+ years of sales experience with at least 5 years in senior sales leadership roles (e.g., Sales Director, Regional Manager).
• Proven ability to build, manage and motivate high-performing sales teams and exceed targets.
• Strong understanding of sales processes, channel management and key account management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet revenue and market share goals.
• Lead, coach, and mentor regional sales managers and account executives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand the client base.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors and stakeholders.
• Analyze market trends, competitors and customer needs to inform strategies.
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecast volumes, and report to senior management.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and service teams for a unified customer experience.
• Oversee negotiation and closing of major sales contracts.
• Ensure the team operates within budget and achieves profitability targets.
