Placements24 is assisting a renowned industrial equipment manufacturer in recruiting an Area Sales Manager to lead sales in Vereeniging, Gauteng. This field-based role requires a hands-on approach to driving revenue, managing a territory, and building strong relationships with industrial clients.

You will travel regularly, identify new opportunities, conduct on-site demonstrations, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with engineering teams to provide complete solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in industrial equipment or heavy machinery.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of industrial processes, manufacturing equipment, and applications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet quotas in the designated area.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities through prospecting and client engagement.
• Manage relationships with existing clients and drive repeat business.
• Conduct on-site product demonstrations and technical presentations to understand client needs.
