Placements24 is seeking a Regional Operations Director to lead expansion in and around Tembisa, Gauteng. You will oversee multiple stores, optimize performance, set targets, and ensure brand standards across the region.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Marketing (MBA a plus), 10+ years in retail, and proven P&L leadership. Willingness to travel regionally and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field.
• MBA is a significant advantage.
• Minimum 10 years in retail management with senior leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic operational plans for regional expansion.
• Oversee performance of all stores, set targets for sales and service.
• Manage regional budgets and optimize ROI.
• Lead and develop store managers and staff.
• Ensure brand standards across locations and policies adherence.
• Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Implement operational improvements to boost customer experience.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, landlords, and stakeholders.
• Ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance in operations.
• Conduct regular audits and performance reviews.
