Job summary

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking a passionate People Development Coach for a client in Plattekloof to drive learning and development across several stores. You will coordinate training, deliver programmes, conduct compliance audits and manage training records.

The role emphasises succession planning, talent development and legislative training compliance, with emphasis on accuracy, coordination and travel between stores as required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification is required; HR or business administration related fields preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a national training role within a consumer/retail environment.
• Experience in QSR, Retail, Catering or Restaurant environments advantageous.
• HR or training administration experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle; willingness to travel between stores.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate learning and development across approximately 5–6 stores within the region.
• Deliver induction, on-boarding and in-store/classroom training; track completion.
• Ensure compliance, audits and reporting; maintain training records and systems.
• Drive succession planning, IDPs and talent pipelines; quarterly reviews with Area Coaches.
• Support new store openings and operational readiness; monitor training effectiveness.
