Job summary

Pro Talent is seeking a seasoned Regional Manager to lead operations in KwaZulu-Natal, overseeing fleet, warehousing and internal sales while driving service excellence and cost discipline. You will guide cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a track record of strategic leadership in manufacturing/FMCG environments, with strong data analysis, budgeting and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• 10–11+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven leadership in fleet, warehouse and team management.
• Strong data analysis, budgeting and cost management skills.
• Experience in customer service and relationship building.
• R and C programming knowledge is advantageous.
• Ability to implement systems for efficiency and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet management, ensuring alignment with RTQS and RTMS standards, including justifications for fleet investments.
• Manage the internal sales team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Supervise raw materials warehouses and teams to uphold Polyoak standards.
• Ensure all departments maintain excellent housekeeping and accurate stock takes, with variances reported to the Executive.
• Investigate customer returns, delivery failures, and incomplete loads, ensuring proper closure and communication.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Prepare and manage budgets for capex, raw materials, and distribution, maintaining financial discipline.
• Implement cost reduction and management systems.
• Drive employee morale and engagement proactively.
• Monitor and report key logistics ratios and operating costs.
• Prioritize 99% service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Foster effective inter-branch and inter-departmental collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with FSSC, ISO, and other standards in daily operations.
