Job summary

PlaceTalent is seeking a seasoned HR Business Partner to drive regional HR strategy across multiple African markets. You will partner with senior regional leadership to translate global HR strategies into effective regional execution plans and oversee governance, programmes, and initiatives.

You will lead workforce analytics, dashboards, and executive presentations, while influencing country HR teams to ensure compliant, consistent processes and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification or HR certification is advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years' HR experience in multinational organisations.
• Experience in HR Business Partnering or Generalist leadership across multiple African markets.
• Strong project management experience.
• Solid understanding of HR governance, employment law, compliance, workforce planning, and employee relations.
• Experience in a complex, matrixed international environment.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior regional leadership to translate global HR strategies into regional execution plans.
• Drive HR transformation initiatives across multiple African markets with governance and operational excellence.
• Coordinate regional HR projects, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate with regional, global, and corporate HR teams to align with policies and best practices.
• Support and influence country HR teams promoting consistent processes and high-quality service delivery.
• Lead regional reporting, workforce analytics, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, governance, and employee experience regionally.
• Provide strategic guidance on organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee relations.
• Build relationships with business leaders across markets and promote accountability and continuous improvement.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field

Postgraduate qualification or HR certification
