Placements24 is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee multiple food service units across George and the Western Cape. You will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with health regulations, and lead site managers to deliver high-quality service.

The role requires a diploma/degree in hospitality management and 6+ years in food service operations, with contract catering experience. A hybrid work model with regional travel is offered.

Competenze

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in food service operations management, with multi-site/ regional exposure.
• Proven experience in contract catering or large-scale food service operations.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP) and health regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and improve operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in MS Office and POS/operations systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within George region.
• Ability to adapt to a hybrid work model with on-site oversight.

• Manage and direct day-to-day operations for multiple food service units in the region.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations and standards.
• Drive operational excellence focusing on efficiency, cost control, and waste reduction.
• Lead, train, and motivate site managers and teams to deliver exceptional service.
• Develop and implement operational plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
