Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Regional Operations Director to oversee and drive operational excellence across South Africa, based in Benoni, Gauteng. This senior role leads diverse teams, shapes strategic direction, and ensures profitable service delivery, balancing hands-on management with strategic oversight.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in managing complex regional operations, implementing innovative solutions, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a senior operations management role, preferably regional.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic operational plans.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L management for a large unit.
• Excellent leadership, team management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency and cost savings.
• Experience with performance management systems and methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Operations Management; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional operational strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Oversee all regional operations, including service delivery, resources, and performance management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop regional managers and staff.
• Implement and monitor KPIs to track efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage budgets and financial performance for the region.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement.
• Prepare regular operational reports for senior leadership.
