Job summary

Smollan is seeking a Field Area Manager to drive regional sales, oversee audits, and lead a high-performing field team across multiple regions. You will manage client relationships, ensure service excellence, and report to senior management.

You will develop strategies, coach leaders, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with industry standards while delivering consistent performance and growth for the business.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 (NQF4) is required.
• Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
• 5-8 years of experience in Financial Services with customer service, field sales, and call centers.
• Proven ability to achieve customer satisfaction, oversee staff management, and resolve client issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to generate new business and maintain client relationships.
• Proactively acquire new clients while ensuring high customer satisfaction and managing the client lifecycle.
• Foster long-term stakeholder relationships to drive regional growth and performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Team Leaders, agents, and compliance personnel.
• Set targets and KPIs; conduct reviews and provide feedback to support growth and hit goals.
• Provide coaching to help team members achieve personal and professional goals.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies across the region.
• Regularly report on regional sales, team metrics, and client activities to senior management.
• Oversee day-to-day field operations and address operational challenges.
