Job summary

Smollan is seeking a Field Sales and Service Consultant to drive sales and promote financial products within an assigned region. You will build client relationships, manage portfolios and identify new business opportunities to meet customer needs.

In this role you will deliver consultative selling, provide exceptional service, and maintain up-to-date product knowledge while complying with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate (Grade 12) is required.
• Diploma or degree in business, sales, marketing or related field (NQF 5) is required.
• 2-4 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in financial services or insurance.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of financial services and products within the assigned region.
• Identify and pursue leads to build a pipeline of prospective clients.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations and consultations with potential clients.
• Achieve sales targets and objectives within the specified region or territory.
• Manage client accounts and build relationships to maximise sales opportunities.
• Provide exceptional service to new and existing clients, responding to needs and inquiries.
• Educate clients on features, benefits and terms of financial products and services.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
