Placements24 is hiring a Regional Distribution Manager to oversee our George, Western Cape distribution operations. You will manage warehousing, inventory, and logistics to ensure efficient delivery across the region.

The role requires 5+ years in distribution/warehouse management, strong leadership, and proficiency with WMS/ERP systems. You will drive improvements, lead a team, and ensure safety standards at our George facility.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of distribution or warehouse management experience, preferably wholesale/retail.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and transportation logistics.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in WMS and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily operations of the distribution center, including receiving, warehousing, order picking, packing, and shipping.
• Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity within distribution.
• Oversee inventory management to minimize stockouts and holding costs.
• Coordinate transportation logistics with internal fleets and external carriers for timely deliveries.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse and logistics staff with a focus on safety and performance.
• Ensure health and safety compliance within warehouse and transportation operations.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and customer service to align distribution with business needs.
• Manage budgets and control warehousing/transportation expenses.
• Implement new technologies and processes to improve visibility and efficiency in the Western Cape.
