Placements24 is seeking a Regional Logistics Coordinator to manage fleet operations and delivery schedules in George, Western Cape. The role blends office-based strategic planning with on-site operational oversight to optimize routes and improve service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in logistics, supply chain or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination, fleet management, or similar role.
• Proficiency with logistics software and route optimization tools.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and best practices.
• Hybrid work environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize delivery routes for drivers in George, Western Cape.
• Monitor fleet performance and ensure maintenance per schedule.
• Manage driver schedules, assignments, and performance guidance.
• Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse and customer service teams to resolve challenges.
• Track shipments in real-time and provide stakeholder updates.
• Analyze logistics data to identify efficiency, cost and service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Handle customer inquiries related to deliveries and logistics.
• Implement and oversee new logistics strategies and technologies.
