Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CA(SA), SAIPA, ACCA) is required.
• Minimum 6 years external auditing experience; at least 2 in a management/supervisory role.
• Proven experience managing audit teams and diverse client portfolios.
• In-depth knowledge of ISA standards and applicable legislation.
• Proficiency with auditing software and MS Office suites.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Commitment to professional ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff with performance feedback.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships as the primary audit contact.
• Assess client internal controls, identify risks and improvements.
• Plan audit scope, objectives, and procedures with resource planning.
• Review audit working papers and financial statements for accuracy.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and audit committees.
• Stay updated on ISA changes, auditing regulations and industry trends.
• Contribute to business development through proposals and client presentations.
• Ensure adherence to the firm's quality control policies.
