About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Real Estate Development Manager to lead ambitious projects in Randburg and across Gauteng. This role involves overseeing the entire development lifecycle, from site acquisition and feasibility studies to project planning, construction management, and final delivery. You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including investors, architects, contractors, and local authorities, to bring complex development projects to fruition. This is a senior position for a seasoned professional looking to drive significant growth and impact within the real estate development sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future landscape of Randburg.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate potential development sites, conducting feasibility studies and market analysis.
Manage all phases of the development process, including zoning, permitting, design, and construction.
Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure high-quality project execution.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers, service providers, and construction firms.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in real estate development project management.
Demonstrated success in managing large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
Strong understanding of construction processes, contract negotiation, and financial management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with the Randburg and Gauteng development regulations and market conditions.
