You will build financial models, prepare reports, and assist due diligence and entitlement processes while collaborating across the development team in Mpumalanga's property market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Urban Planning, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in real estate development or finance.
• Strong financial modeling skills using Excel; Argus a plus.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with data analysis and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

About the Role

About the Role Our client, a dynamic real estate development firm, is seeking a sharp and analytical Real Estate Development Analyst to support their expanding operations in the Nelspruit area. This hybrid role involves assisting senior development managers in evaluating new project opportunities, conducting market research, performing financial feasibility studies, and supporting the entire development process from conception to completion. You will play a key role in analyzing data, building financial models, and preparing reports to aid in strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background, a keen interest in urban development, and a solid understanding of the Mpumalanga property market. This is an excellent entry-level to mid-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in real estate development, offering a blend of remote analytical work and necessary on-site project assessment and team collaboration. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating potential real estate development sites and projects in and around Nelspruit .
• Conduct market research, including demographic analysis, competitor benchmarking, and demand forecasting.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to assess project feasibility, including pro forma income statements, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses.
• Prepare investment committee presentations, reports, and summaries for proposed developments.
• Assist with the due diligence process for land acquisition, including zoning reviews and entitlement research.
• Collaborate with development managers, architects, engineers, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements
