Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality Industrial Engineer in Kimberley to enhance operational excellence through quality data analysis, root cause investigations, and CAPA implementations. The role bridges engineering, production, and QA to drive continuous improvement across processes.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Industrial Engineering, experience in a manufacturing quality environment, and strong knowledge of ISO 9001, SPC, and FMEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in quality engineering, process improvement, or a similar role within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and tools (SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and training in Kimberley.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes and quality data to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement quality control plans, SPC procedures, and inspection methods.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality non-conformances and implement CAPA.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to integrate quality considerations into process design and modifications.
• Develop and deliver training on quality standards and procedures to production personnel.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics and the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
