Job summary

Qualifications

• Practical experience with HACCP and BRCGS.
• Knowledge of apple and pear post-harvest processes, quality defects, cooling and storage.
• Experience with audits, non-conformances and customer complaints.

• BSc degree in Food Science, Horticulture, Agriculture or a related field
• Proven quality management experience in the apple and pear packing or post-harvest sector
• Practical experience with HACCP and BRCGS
• Knowledge of apple and pear post-harvest processes, quality defects, cooling and storage
• Experience with audits, non-conformances and customer complaints.
• Strong analytical, communication and team leadership skills
• Hands‑on packhouse experience is essential
• Lead quality assurance and food safety from fruit intake to dispatch
• Maintain HACCP and BRCGS systems and ensure compliance
• Oversee fruit quality assessments and customer specifications
