Job summary

Skillnet Recruitment is seeking a skilled Senior Refrigeration Technician for a well-established refrigeration company in Mpumalanga. You will service, diagnose, and maintain multiplex and CO₂ systems across commercial and industrial projects, while interacting with clients and internal teams.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in refrigeration (commercial & industrial), a Refrigeration Mechanic trade test, and relevant NQF levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years refrigeration experience (commercial & industrial).
• Trade Test: Refrigeration Mechanic.
• NQF Level 4 or 5 in Refrigeration, HVAC, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Apprenticeship completed through an accredited training provider.
• FET College Certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Strong knowledge of multiplex and CO₂ systems.
• Valid ID, passport, and driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel for work.
• Clean criminal record.
• Stable employment history.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to grow with the company and contribute to long-term success.
• Salary is market related depending on qualifications and experience.
