Job summary

• Maintain high housekeeping standards and report challenges to supervisor.

Job description

Medipost Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented QA Assistant x14 to manage packaging quality assurance, meet high hourly script outputs, and uphold company operational and attendance standards.

Operational Activities

• To ensure timely and accurate labelling, Quality assurance of medications including checking of directions, quantity, expiry of medicine and packing from a status 77 & 78 to a status 87 or 95, to be ready for dispatch.
• Working productively and efficiently – Minimum output of 35 scripts per hour for Ambient and 15 scripts per hour for Fridge-line parcels.
• Any other task as requested by line manager within the employee’s scope of employment:
  • Assisting the pickers in the event of work flowing too slow from a status 76 to status 77,
  • Assisting the fine picking department if operational pressure requires it,
  • Assisting the dispatch department if operation pressure requires it,
  • Assist in the yearly stock take.
• Reporting any challenges that influence the operations to the supervisor or line manager:
  • Network errors e.g. slow printing of documents or inability to connect to the network, etc.
• Keeping high housekeeping standards.

Time and Attendance

• Strictly complying to the company’s Time and Attendance policy,
• Working back hours owed by the end of the month,
• Timeously informing the Supervisor in the event of late or non-arrival,
• Not exceeding the lunch hour,
• Booking planned leave in advance,
• Supplying the Supervisor with accurately completed leave and overtime documents.

EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in a Pharmacy QA/Production Environment.
