Job summary

The University of Pretoria invites applications for three posts of Provincial Clinical Programme Coordinator on a 1-year renewable contract. The role works with the Provincial Clinical Programme Lead to implement Integrated Postnatal Care across provinces, providing clinical and operational support and building capacity to sustain maternal and child health services.

Qualifications

• MBChB with HPCSA registration as Medical Practitioner; OR
• BCur with SANC registration as Professional Nurse; OR
• BCMP with HPCSA registration as Clinical Associate.

Responsibilities

• Engage with provincial and district stakeholders to support programme adoption.
• Provide clinical and technical support for integrated postnatal services.
• Develop tools and guidance to strengthen service delivery and referrals.
• Coordinate capacity building, training and mentorship across districts.
• Monitor implementation, address challenges and drive quality improvement.
• Prepare progress reports and share lessons with stakeholders.
