Job summary

University of Pretoria invites applications for the Provincial Clinical Programme Lead to facilitate provincial-level implementation of Integrated PostNatal Care. The role engages stakeholders, provides clinical and technical support, and leads capacity-building to sustain integrated maternal and infant services within routine child health care.

The incumbent will liaise between central teams and provincial/district stakeholders, ensuring implementation fidelity and ongoing performance

Qualifications

• MBChB/BCur/BCMP with HPCSA/SANC registration.
• Minimum 5 years in clinical/health program implementation.
• 2+ years in training facilitation and capacity-building.

Responsibilities

• Engage with provincial and district stakeholders to drive programme adoption.
• Support scale-up of integrated postnatal care across provinces.
• Lead capacity-building and training for healthcare workers and managers.
• Monitor implementation, address operational challenges and improve performance.
• Prepare progress reports and disseminate learnings.
