Job summary

Shoprite Group of Companies is seeking a Space and Promotions Coordinator to plan, track, and analyze promotional activities ensuring stock availability and efficient DC operations. You will work with Buying, suppliers, and operations to manage allocations and forecast promotions.

The role requires collaboration across DCs, strong Excel and data analysis skills, and the ability to adapt across different sites while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• BCom Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in FMCG forecasting, planning, or a related supply chain environment.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis capabilities with the ability to interpret large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DC operations, suppliers and Buying to ensure efficient receiving of goods and mitigate risks.
• Capture and report allocations with an up-to-date allocation tracker.
• Load all promotional activities for brands onto the promotions grid.
• Conduct pre-, during-, and post-promotion analyses to identify risks and provide actionable feedback.
• Develop reports on promotional sales projections aligned with system expectations.
• Communicate promotional activities to stakeholders and adapt across sites as needed.
