Job summary

Schlemmer is seeking a Space Planning Administrator in Pinetown to support the Space Planning team by coordinating projects, maintaining data, preparing reports and managing floor plans, planograms and product information.

The role focuses on data accuracy, stakeholder coordination and timely reporting in a fast-paced retail environment. A Matric and 2–3 years in space planning or admin is preferred, with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Matric
• 2–3 years' experience within a Space Planning or similar administrative environment
• Retail industry experience would be advantageous
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications
• Experience working with Space Planning systems
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain and coordinate floor plans and ensure CAD updates are completed
• Collate and manage modular photographs and store audits
• Obtain supplier product images and dimensions for the Space Planning platform
• Capture product information and images into the Space Planning system
• Audit planograms against store photographs and provide compliance summaries
• Produce weekly reports and maintain product reclassifications
• Monitor planogram publishing and communicate updates
• Prepare summary reports and provide administrative support to the Space Planning team
• Manage departmental queries and follow up on outstanding actions
• Perform general administrative duties supporting the department

Our client in Pinetown is looking for a Space Planning Administrator to support their Space Planning team by coordinating projects, maintaining data, preparing reports, and ensuring the accurate administration of floor plans, planograms, and product information.
