Job summary

Takealot Group in Cape Town is seeking a Promotions Co-ordinator to join our Trade Optimization team. You will support executing promotional campaigns on site, coordinate with Retail, Marketing, Marketplace, Catalogue and Advertising, and ensure timely activation of promotions with accuracy.

You will monitor campaigns, compile monthly reports, manage deadlines, and train stakeholders in using promotional tools.

Qualifications

• Degree or Advanced Diploma qualification.
• 5 years in a high-performance retail environment if no degree.
• Experience in retail promotions is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Promotions Operations Manager to execute campaigns on site.
• Coordinate with Retail, Marketing, Marketplace, Catalogue and Advertising.
• Communicate deadlines, requirements and processes of all promotions.
• Select promotional offers for newsletters and site features.
• Monthly reporting on promotions with actionable insights.
• Daily monitoring of planned offers and stakeholder follow-up.
• Ensure product selection, listings, stock and pricing are correct.
• Train stakeholders to use promotional tools.
• Work with Design to create banners and ensure artwork is uploaded on time.
• Maintain the monthly Promotions Operations team schedule in Asana.
• Assist with Anchor campaigns (Black Friday, etc.).
• Collaborate with Product Team to improve tools and bug fixes.
