Job summary

Hilti South Africa is seeking a Project Sales Specialist for the Northern Cape mining and construction space. You’ll visit large jobsites, lead solution consultancy, and drive end-to-end business support to deliver innovative, cost-efficient Hilti solutions.

The role focuses on building strong client relationships, conducting product demonstrations, and collaborating with internal teams to turn opportunities into successful project outcomes across Khatu and Upington.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager / Key Account manager in mining
• Bachelor’s Degree / National Diploma in civil or mechanical fields with 2–3 years of sales experience
• Excellent project management skills
• Exposure to handling constructions jobsites
• Good product demonstration skills
• Strong collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Self-motivated and proactive with a can-do attitude
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships
• Proficiency in handling both technical & commercial tasks
• Superior verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned large construction jobsites and lead point of contact for all matters from inception to completion
• Develop understanding of relevant applications and suggest suitable solutions
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain value for money propositions
• Collaborate with stakeholders on jobsites and drive initiatives
• Conduct seminars, trainings and workshops to raise awareness of Hilti technologies
• Troubleshoot problems for contractors
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to get things done on time
• Identify opportunities for growth and suggest steps to improve business performance
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
• Ensure timely coordination with Sold-to AM to collect receivables
