Job summary

SkyeBiz in Durban is recruiting a Project Manager to join the Product Office for a 12-month contract. You will lead medium-to-large technology projects across multiple streams, manage dependencies, risks and budgets, and work with engineering and product teams to deliver value.

The role requires certification in PMI PMP/PRINCE2 or Agile methods, strong stakeholder management, and experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365. On-site Durban work and a 12-month term apply.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering medium-to-large technology projects or programmes.
• Strong Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall and/or Hybrid delivery experience.
• Understanding of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, testing and release management.
• Strong stakeholder management, including senior leadership.
• Vendor and commercial-partner management experience.
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial-tracking experience.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or equivalent.
• Advanced Microsoft 365 capability.
• Practical exposure to AI-assisted working using Microsoft Copilot, Claude AI or similar.
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced technology Project Manager who enjoys bringing structure, governance and predictability to complex delivery?
We're recruiting a Project Manager to join the Product Office of a major international technology organisation in Durban on a 12-month contract.
You'll lead medium-to-large technology projects and programmes, managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, stakeholders, vendors and budgets while working closely with engineering and product teams.

What we're looking for

Highly advantageous:

iGaming/Gaming experience, cloud/platform modernisation, regulatory/security programmes, enterprise transformation and organisational change.

Contract: 12 months

Location: Durban, on-site

Target remuneration: R57,500 per month, invoiced to Avatar and paid from the UK.
