Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a leading financial services institution, is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure and Cloud Project Manager to join their dynamic team. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet business requirements, technical specifications, and timelines. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server deployments, and data center migrations.
• Manage cloud migration initiatives (AWS, Azure, GCP) from strategy development through to implementation and ongoing optimization.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and service providers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Manage vendor contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
• Track project progress, provide regular status reports to stakeholders, and manage project documentation.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among geographically dispersed project team members.
• Drive continuous improvement in IT infrastructure management and project delivery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on infrastructure and cloud technologies.
• Proven experience managing projects related to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), server virtualization, network engineering, and data center operations.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, cybersecurity best practices, and disaster recovery planning.
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively in a fully remote work environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
