Placements24 is seeking a Lead Project Manager to drive a major cloud infrastructure rollout in a remote-capable role within South Africa. You will oversee strategic planning, execution, and delivery of complex cloud migrations, guiding globally distributed teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in project management with 5+ years in cloud projects, strong leadership and stakeholder management, and proficiency with Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years dedicated to managing complex cloud infrastructure projects (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven experience leading and managing remote teams.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts, architecture, and deployment models.
• Certifications such as Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) or equivalent are desirable.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.

• Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of project managers, engineers, and technical specialists.

Requirements
