Qualifications

• Experience in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation through execution and close-out.
• Engage with business stakeholders, delivery teams and sponsors throughout the lifecycle.
• Define objectives, delivery approaches and success measures.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, timelines and dependencies.
• Coordinate activities across business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies; escalate as needed.
• Track progress and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Facilitate governance forums, meetings and workshops.
• Support budget tracking, resource planning and reporting.
• Ensure documentation, handover and lessons learned at closure.

We are looking for a hands-on delivery professional with proven experience managing card and payments-related projects within a banking or financial services environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable driving projects from initiation through to implementation while engaging effectively with business, technology and vendor stakeholders.

Key Experience Required

• 5+ years' Project Management experience
• Banking or financial services experience
• Card payments, merchant acquiring, payment acceptance or contactless payments experience
• Experience delivering technology and business change initiatives

• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments

Education:

• Matric (essential)
• PRINCE2 Practitioner and/or PMP certification (required)
• Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Computer Science, Business Science, or Engineering (advantageous)
• Agile certifications (e.g. Scrum Master, SAFe, SAFe RTE) highly advantageous
