Job summary

iqbusiness is seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive programme management experience to lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations in complex, multi-vendor environments. You will govern via Sure Step and Success by Design, engage executive sponsors, and guide multiple interdependent workstreams from analysis through hypercare.

The role requires proven delivery across Dynamics 365 modules, strong stakeholder and vendor management, and experience in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid

Qualifications

• 10+ years' Project Management experience, with senior-level responsibilities.
• Proven Programme Management experience with governance, roadmaps, budgets and benefits tracking.
• Delivery of multiple end-to-end Dynamics 365 implementations (Finance & Operations, Business Central, CS/Field Service).
• Experience applying Microsoft methods such as Sure Step and/or Success by Design.
• Experience managing integration, data migration, testing and cutover across Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation through execution and close-out.
• Engage with stakeholders, delivery teams and sponsors throughout the lifecycle.
• Define objectives, delivery approaches and success measures.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and dependencies.
• Coordinate activities across business and technology teams for delivery.
• Monitor risks, issues and dependencies and escalate as needed.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Facilitate governance forums and project meetings.
• Support budget tracking and resource planning.
• Ensure documentation and lessons learned are captured at closure.

Role Summary

iqbusiness is seeking a Senior Project Manager with Programme management experience for contracting opportunities.

We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on delivery professional with a proven track record of leading end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations in complex, multi-vendor environments. This includes managing multiple related projects and workstreams as part of a wider programme. The ideal candidate will have taken Dynamics 365 projects from analysis and design through build, testing, deployment and hypercare. They will be comfortable setting up and running programme governance against recognised implementation methods such as Microsoft Sure Step and Success by Design, and will engage confidently with executive sponsors, business, technology, implementation partner and vendor stakeholders.

Key Experience Required

• 10+ years' Project Management experience, with substantial experience at a senior level
• Proven Programme Management experience, overseeing multiple interdependent projects or workstreams, including programme governance, roadmaps, budgets and benefits tracking
• Proven delivery of multiple end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations (e.g. Finance and Operations, Business Central, Customer Engagement and/or Field Service)
• Experience applying Microsoft implementation methods such as Sure Step and/or Success by Design
• Experience managing integration, data migration, testing and cutover across Dynamics 365, middleware and third-party platforms
• Experience delivering large-scale technology and business change initiatives, including organisational change and user adoption
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, risk and dependency management skills across projects, including managing implementation partners and contracts
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments
• Exposure to the Power Platform, Power BI or Copilot (advantageous)

Education

• Matric (essential)
• PRINCE2 Practitioner and/or PMP certification (required)
• Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Computer Science, Business Science, or Engineering (advantageous)
• Agile certifications (e.g. Scrum Master, SAFe, SAFe RTE) highly advantageous
