Job summary

Network Finance is seeking an experienced ERP finance implementation leader to drive workstreams across GL, AP, AR and Procurement. You will ensure multi-currency reporting, robust controls, and successful go-live readiness across countries.

You will define system requirements, manage data migration and coordinate stakeholders across regions, delivering clear status updates and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field essential.
• CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA or equivalent qualification advantageous.
• PMP or PRINCE2 advantageous.
• Advanced MS Excel, including financial modelling and reconciliations.
• 7+ years finance experience.
• 3+ years project management experience.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting and group consolidation.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, data migration and system interfaces.
• IFRS knowledge including foreign currency translation and consolidation.
• Experience managing implementation partners and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Embed financial controls, approval workflows and audit trails.
• Manage project plans, milestones, budgets, risks and dependencies.
• Monitor implementation partner deliverables and resolve project issues.
• Coordinate finance stakeholders across countries and functions.
• Drive change management, training and business readiness.
• Deliver status reports to steering committees/boards.
• Ensure smooth handover to BAU teams.

Job description

This is more than an ERP implementation. You'll lead the finance workstreams across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Procurement, ensuring accurate billing, supplier payments, multi-currency reporting and robust financial controls across all operating countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance workstreams from system design through implementation, go-live and country rollout

Job Experience and Skills:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field essential
• CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA or equivalent professional qualification advantageous
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification advantageous
• Advanced MS Excel, including financial modelling and reconciliations
• 7+ years' finance experience
• 3+ years' project management experience
• Logistics, courier, freight, transport or distribution industry experience strongly preferred
• Financial system / ERP implementation experience
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting and group consolidation
• Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, data migration and system interfaces
• Working knowledge of IFRS, particularly foreign currency translation and consolidation
• Experience with rate cards, pricing structures or billing models advantageous
• Strong project governance, planning and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing implementation partners, budgets and deliverables
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under pressure
