Job summary

Network Finance seeks a seasoned ERP Finance Lead to steer finance workstreams (GL, AP, AR and Procurement) across multiple countries during a global ERP implementation. You will define financial system requirements, implement a global chart of accounts, and drive multi-currency consolidation with robust controls.

The role covers data migration, testing, cutover, and go-live readiness, ensuring accurate billing and intercompany accounting while embedding governance and audit trails.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field essential.
• CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA or equivalent qualification advantageous.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification advantageous.
• Advanced MS Excel, including financial modelling and reconciliations.
• 7+ years' finance experience.
• 3+ years' project management experience.
• Financial system / ERP implementation experience.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting and group consolidation.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, data migration and system interfaces.
• Working knowledge of IFRS, particularly foreign currency translation and consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor implementation partner deliverables and resolve project issues
• Coordinate finance stakeholders across countries and business functions
• Drive finance-related change management, training and business readiness
• Deliver project status reports and steering committee / board updates
• Ensure a smooth handover to business-as-usual teams

This is more than an ERP implementation. You'll lead the finance workstreams across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Procurement, ensuring accurate billing, supplier payments, multi-currency reporting and robust financial controls across all operating countries.

Job Experience and Skills:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field essential
• CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA or equivalent professional qualification advantageous
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification advantageous
• Advanced MS Excel, including financial modelling and reconciliations
• 7+ years' finance experience
• 3+ years' project management experience
• Logistics, courier, freight, transport or distribution industry experience strongly preferred
• Financial system / ERP implementation experience
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting and group consolidation
• Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, data migration and system interfaces
• Working knowledge of IFRS, particularly foreign currency translation and consolidation
• Experience with rate cards, pricing structures or billing models advantageous
• Strong project governance, planning and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing implementation partners, budgets and deliverables
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under pressure
