Job summary

Network Finance seeks a seasoned Finance ERP Lead to run finance workstreams across GL, AP, AR and Procurement during a global ERP implementation. You will define system requirements and oversee data migration, testing, and cutover to go-live in multiple countries.

The role demands 7+ years in finance with ERP project delivery, multi-entity and multi-currency experience, and strong governance. CPA/ACCA or equivalent advantageous; PMI/PRINCE2 beneficial.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• CA(SA), CIMA or SAIPA qualification advantageous.
• Advanced MS Excel, financial modelling and reconciliations.
• 7+ years in finance with 3+ years of project management experience.
• ERP implementation experience and multi-entity, multi-currency accounting.
• Strong financial controls, data migration, and governance skills.
• IFRS knowledge, especially foreign currency translation and consolidation.

Responsibilities

Job description

This is more than an ERP implementation. You'll lead the finance workstreams across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Procurement, ensuring accurate billing, supplier payments, multi-currency reporting and robust financial controls across all operating countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance workstreams from system design through implementation, go-live and country rollout
• Define financial system requirements across GL, AP, AR and Procurement
• Drive the implementation of a global chart of accounts and multi-currency consolidation
• Oversee financial data migration, testing, cutover and go-live readiness
• Ensure accurate client billing, supplier rates and outsourced driver charges
• Validate financial system interfaces and reconciliation controls
• Oversee intercompany accounting, foreign exchange and group reporting requirements
• Embed financial controls, approval workflows and audit trails
• Manage project plans, milestones, budgets, risks and dependencies
• Monitor implementation partner deliverables and resolve project issues
• Coordinate finance stakeholders across countries and business functions
• Drive finance-related change management, training and business readiness
• Deliver project status reports and steering committee / board updates
• Ensure a smooth handover to business-as-usual teams

Job Experience and Skills:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field essential
• CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA or equivalent professional qualification advantageous
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification advantageous
• Advanced MS Excel, including financial modelling and reconciliations
• 7+ years' finance experience
• 3+ years' project management experience
• Logistics, courier, freight, transport or distribution industry experience strongly preferred
• Financial system / ERP implementation experience
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting and group consolidation
• Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, data migration and system interfaces
• Working knowledge of IFRS, particularly foreign currency translation and consolidation
• Experience with rate cards, pricing structures or billing models advantageous
• Strong project governance, planning and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing implementation partners, budgets and deliverables
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under pressure
