Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead energy infrastructure projects in Rustenburg. You will oversee the full lifecycle from conception to closure, managing budgets, timelines and resources while coordinating engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.

The role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, PMI/PRINCE2 knowledge, and proficiency in MS Project/Primavera. A Master's and PMP are highly desirable; hybrid work is offered.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical) or Project Management.
• A Master's degree is an advantage.

About the Role

Our client, a significant force in the Energy sector, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to spearhead infrastructure development projects in Rustenburg, North West. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader capable of overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from conception and planning through to execution and closure. You will be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, resources, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of complex energy projects that are crucial to regional development. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership qualities, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to navigate the intricacies of large-scale infrastructure initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of energy infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical), Project Management, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on the Energy sector or large-scale infrastructure development.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Experience with contract management and vendor negotiation.
• Knowledge of environmental impact assessments and regulatory compliance in the energy sector.
• Ability to manage budgets exceeding R100 million.
• Professional accreditation such as PMP is highly desirable.
