You will drive planning, execution, and delivery of complex web projects, with a focus on UX, payments, and performance. Strong experience in e-commerce and Agile methods is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of project management experience.
• At least 3 years on e-commerce platforms or complex web projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, CS or related field.
• Familiar with Shopify, Magento or WooCommerce and related tech.
• Experience with Agile methodologies preferred.

Our client, a leading online retail company in Nelspruit , is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the development and enhancement of their e-commerce platform. This critical role will ensure the delivery of a seamless, user-friendly, and robust online shopping experience for customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce technologies, digital marketing principles, and a proven ability to manage complex web development projects. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work from our modern Mpumalanga offices and remotely, providing flexibility while ensuring team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of e-commerce platform development projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with marketing, IT, and operations teams.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks effectively.
• Oversee website design, feature development, payment gateway integration, and user experience optimization.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external developers, designers, and vendors.
• Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations.
• Monitor website performance, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement.
• Communicate project status, updates, and potential issues to stakeholders regularly.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on e-commerce platforms or complex web development projects.
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects involving online retail, digital marketing, and user experience (UX/UI) design.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and related technologies.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.
