Job summary

Damen's Cape Town Service Hub is seeking a Project Manager Services to lead repair, upgrade and technical support projects across Africa from kick-off to delivery. You will work with vessel owners, suppliers and technical specialists, taking ownership from start to finish on projects valued from €50,000 to €4.5 million.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or commercial field.
• Several years of experience in a maritime services environment.
• At least 5 years of project management experience within ship repair.

• Coordinate engineering, procurement, logistics and delivery activities.
• Manage budgets, planning, risks and project performance.

The role

As Project Manager Services, you'll lead repair, upgrade and technical support projects across Africa from our Cape Town Service Hub. With project values ranging from €50,000 to €4.5 million.

The majority of your projects will be executed in South Africa, with occasional opportunities to support customers and projects across other parts of Africa.

You'll work directly with vessel owners, suppliers and technical specialists, taking ownership from kick-off to successful delivery in a fast-paced ship repair environment.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for a proactive Project Manager Services who brings:

• A Bachelor's degree in a technical or commercial field;
• Several years of experience in a maritime services environment;
• At least 5 years of project management experience within ship repair;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
