• Previous experience in Operations, Project Management, Project Coordination or a similar role, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong project coordination and organisational skills.
• Experience managing suppliers, procurement and project timelines.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Experience with project management systems would be advantageous.
• A self-motivated, accountable and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operational execution of multiple projects, ensuring timelines and milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate suppliers following purchase orders, deposits and payments, monitoring manufacturing progress, lead times and deliveries.
• Ensure all materials, equipment and services are ordered and available in line with project requirements.
• Track project progress and proactively identify and communicate risks, delays and revised completion dates.
• Manage client expectations through regular project updates and coordination of schedule changes.
• Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance visits for installed systems.
• Coordinate technician schedules, ensuring the correct parts, tools, documentation and resources are available for site visits.
• Arrange travel, accommodation and logistics for technicians where required.
• Liaise directly with clients regarding maintenance appointments, site access and work schedules.
• Maintain accurate project, procurement and maintenance records.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, supplier performance and overall project delivery.

This is a hands-on role responsible for coordinating projects from order placement through to completion, ensuring suppliers, technicians, clients and internal teams remain aligned throughout the process.

Work arrangement: Office-based

Salary: R60,000 – R80,000 per month, depending on experience
