Finance Systems Implementation Specialist

Our client in the freight and logistics industry is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Implementation Specialist to join their Global Finance function in Johannesburg.

This is a key role focused on optimising finance processes, supporting financial systems and driving standardisation and continuous improvement across the organisation. The ideal candidate will bring strong finance process knowledge together with SAP/ERP experience, analytical capability and an interest in digitalisation and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, standardise and optimise finance policies, processes and best practices across departments and branches.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement strategies to improve efficiency and performance.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls, global standards and external regulations.
• Support the evaluation, selection, implementation and integration of financial systems and tools.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance Management or a related field; alternatively, relevant vocational training with substantial professional experience.
• Professional experience within a finance environment, with a strong understanding of financial processes and their implementation.
• Experience in conceptualising and implementing processes within IT systems.
• Strong SAP/ ERP experience within a finance environment is required.
• A strong interest in digitalisation and technology within the finance function.

• Experience working within a global or multinational finance environment.
• Exposure to finance transformation, process improvement or systems implementation projects.
