Placements24 is seeking a skilled Project Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical components across major projects in the Richards Bay area. You will drive the full lifecycle from design to handover, leading teams and coordinating with clients, contractors and regulators.

A hybrid role balances on-site work with remote arrangements, in KwaZulu-Natal. The role requires a B.Eng or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and at least six years in project engineering or management of large-scale

Qualifications

• B.Eng or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years in project engineering or project management in electrical field.
• Experience managing large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies and electrical safety standards.
• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate electrical engineering activities for projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules and allocations.
• Oversee site installations, inspections and testing.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and regulators for compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation for electrical hazards.
• Prepare progress reports and project close-out documentation.
