Job summary

Placements24 seeks a dynamic Electrical Engineer with a passion for project management to join their Polokwane team. You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery of electrical projects, coordinating with engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders in a hybrid on-site/remote setup.

Required: a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years in electrical engineering with 2 years in project coordination or management, and proficiency with MS Project or Asana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 5 years in electrical engineering with at least 2 years in a project coordination/management role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of electrical engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers for timely delivery.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status and challenges to stakeholders regularly.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
