Placements24 is seeking a driven Project Chemical Engineer to manage and execute chemical engineering projects at our Vereeniging operation. You will lead across all phases, from conceptualization and design to implementation and commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires a strong engineering background, at least four years in project engineering or management within the chemical industry, and proven ability to manage capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in project engineering or project management within the chemical industry.
• Proven track record of managing capital projects from conception to closeout.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and engineering design principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with project scheduling software and cost estimation techniques for projects in Vereeniging.

Responsibilities

• Manage chemical engineering projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
