About the Role

Our client, a leading non-profit organization focused on sustainable development, is seeking a dedicated Program Officer to manage and implement community development projects in the Pretoria area. This role involves working closely with community members, local authorities, and partner organizations to design, execute, and monitor projects that foster economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of community dynamics and a passion for driving positive change. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of community development projects from inception to completion.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program management or community development, preferably with an NGO.
• Strong understanding of development principles, project cycle management, and monitoring & evaluation frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and standard office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in community facilitation.
• A relevant degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
