Placements24 is seeking a Project Officer to support rural development initiatives in Mahikeng, North West. You will assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring projects that improve infrastructure and livelihoods in rural communities, working with local stakeholders and partners.

The role requires 3+ years in project management, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a field-based, hybrid setting in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project implementation or management.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse groups.
• Familiarity with rural community dynamics and development challenges in South Africa.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a field-based environment.
