Placements24 in East London is seeking a strategic Community Programme Manager to lead social impact initiatives in the Eastern Cape. You will develop, implement, and oversee programmes that address community needs and foster sustainable change.

You will manage budgets, lead staff and volunteers, and build strong partnerships with local partners, government, and funders to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in programme management, preferably in non-profit or community sector.
  • Proven track record of managing projects, budgets and teams.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Community Programme Manager to lead and oversee various social impact initiatives in the East London area. This role requires a leader capable of developing, implementing, and managing programmes that address community needs and foster positive social change. You will work closely with community stakeholders, manage budgets, and lead a dedicated team to ensure programme success and sustainability. Key Responsibilities

  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and data analysis tools.
