Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and scale youth empowerment initiatives in Pretoria and surrounding areas. You will design, implement, and oversee programs, manage budgets, and build partnerships with schools, community centers, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Education, Youth Development, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in program management within youth development or empowerment initiatives.
• Proven success in designing, implementing, and evaluating impactful youth programs.
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to build and maintain partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience budgeting and financial management for programs.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Pretoria's youth challenges and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of youth empowerment programs, from conceptualization to implementation and evaluation in Pretoria.
• Develop program strategies and action plans that align with organizational goals and youth needs.
• Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient and effective allocation of resources.
• Lead, mentor, and support program staff and volunteers involved in youth initiatives.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with schools, community centers, government agencies, and other stakeholders in Pretoria.
• Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess impact.
• Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and mentoring activities for youth participants.
