• Conduct vulnerability screening across communicable and non-communicable diseases for early detection of risk and prompt intervention, including:
• COVID-19 screening at campuses to prevent the spread of the virus
• Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
• Gender-Based Violence (GBV)
• Cervical cancer
• Utilize telemedicine to support virtual screening, remote consultations, follow-ups, health education, referrals, and continuity of care
• Provide HIV Testing Services (HTS) and ensure linkage to appropriate interventions based on test results, including telemedicine-supported counselling, follow-up, and adherence support
• Promote TB preventive therapy at the counselling stage, including telemedicine-enabled adherence monitoring and support
• Render maternal and women’s health services by providing pregnancy screening and referring pregnant individuals to appropriate interventions, supported by telemedicine for ongoing monitoring
• Conduct cervical cancer screenings (smears) in collaboration with National Health Laboratory Services (NHLS), including telemedicine-supported follow-up consultations and results management
• Provide short- and long-acting contraceptives, supported by telemedicine for counselling, adherence support, and management of side effects

Communication and Advocacy

• Participate in various trainings with district health and Higher Health training programs, including the use of telemedicine platforms for continuous professional development
• Participate in district health forums and AIDS councils with Campus Health & Wellness coordinators, incorporating virtual/telemedicine-enabled engagements where applicable
• Participate in local forums with Campus Health & Wellness coordinators, utilizing both in-person and telemedicine channels to strengthen collaboration and outreach
• Liaise with relevant partners for support, including coordination and promotion of telemedicine and digital health services
• Liaise with health facilities for the collection of testing kits, supplies, and commodities, as well as the delivery of specimens to assigned facilities, and support telemedicine-based referrals and results communication
• Monitor the health status of students and staff through both direct engagement and telemedicine platforms to enable timely interventions and follow-up
• Set up and manage schedules for campus clinic visits and mobile testing stations, while integrating telemedicine sessions to expand access to health services and improve service coverage.

Health Safety & Wellness

• Implement disease prevention programs (e.g., smoking cessation, physical activity, healthy eating) for students and staff, utilizing telemedicine platforms for virtual health promotion, education, and ongoing support
• Observe and assess the work and campus environment for potential dangers and hazards, and oversee the implementation of emergency and disaster preparedness programs, including telemedicine-enabled communication and coordination where appropriate
• Serve as a gatekeeper for healthcare services, including rehabilitation, disability support, GBV, LGBTQI+ services, and other wellness needs, while facilitating access through both in-person and telemedicine-based referrals and consultations
• Assist with counselling of students on physical and mental health issues, and guide them toward community resources and support programmes, including virtual counselling and follow-up via telemedicine
• Ensure effective management of health commodities, including forecasting, storage, stock control, and distribution of medical supplies and consumables
• Oversee and ensure proper management and safe disposal of medical waste in line with health and safety regulations and infection prevention and control (IPC) standards

Administration Reporting

• Maintain general facilities administration at both campus and provincial office level, including coordination of telemedicine infrastructure and digital health systems
• Ensure proper waste disposal in accordance with health regulations, including management of medical waste in line with infection prevention and control standards
• Maintain stock control, inventory management, and proper storage of medical supplies and commodities, including tracking usage for both in-person and telemedicine-supported services
• Ensure that specimen handling, collection, and delivery are conducted strictly in accordance with health regulations, including coordination of results and feedback via telemedicine platforms where applicable
• Manage and maintain all assets, including medical equipment and telemedicine tools and devices

• Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on all health services rendered to students and staff, including clinical and telemedicine consultations
• Capture daily service statistics, including screenings, tests conducted, treatments provided, and referrals made
• Maintain electronic and manual health records in line with Department of Health (DOH) data management and confidentiality standards
• Ensure accurate and timely input of data into relevant health information systems and reporting platforms
• Track and report on key health indicators (e.g., HIV, TB, STI, NCDs, mental health, GBV cases)
